Maybe you’re right. We wouldn’t get along as well if I wasn’t going to kill you later. 

You underestimate the amount of people out there who are only in it for their own benefit. I know because I’m one of ‘em.

So I guess you’re right. I don’t want to. I’m not some idiot who’s gonna go and get himself killed for the common good just because I fooled myself into believin’ there would be someone out there who would do the same for me. 

Doesn’t matter anyway. I don’t care for what you have to harp at me about. Just make sure you’re ready to live up to that promise when the time comes.

True enough. Men like you just don’t know when to quit. If you used traits like that for the common good instead of mercenary work, I’m sure you’d make a difference.

Look, I’ve tried the whole “teamwork” deal before. It’s never worked out for anyone well. I’m doin’ fine with what I’ve got now. No need to stir it up.

I can’t tell if it’s confidence or stupidity that keeps you chugging along. And here I thought the turians were stubborn.

A little of both. It’s my skill that weighs out the stupidity.

The turians have nothing against the krogan in being stubborn. The only difference is we usually just kill whatever is pushing us to be.
